The purpose of The Collective is to promote the professional growth of its members by enhancing creativity, expanding technical skills, and supporting the achievement of business goals. These objectives will be accomplished by means of open forum discussions, portfolio review, self-assignments, workshops(gatherings), and positioning the group as the premier source of stock images to the equine and other reladed to the photography business in general over all the imaging industry and fine art clientele. Membership is by open invitation, and limited to those who appreciate the benefits of a collaborative experience and agree to respect the spirit in which this collective is offered. The cost of our forum is free.
We have a forum section for you, too. It is free, and you will need to follow the same registration procedures required of members. Please read "How to Register" in the bottom left column. You will have access to professional photographers who will be listed in our directory, aloong wiith their Portfolio Galleries within this site.
You may post a general request in the forum or contact photographers in your area directly with your image needs.
The Collective forum was started with professional equine photographers. As the objectives and vision grew, the decision was made to expand it into other areas of photography to include anyone who had a desire to learn and grow as a photographer.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the photographers' forum, please follow all directions and read all material provided before joining the forum. We don't have many rules but reserve the right to add new restrictions when needed to keep our forum positive and working towards our goal of helping each other become better photographers. This forum is free to anyone who is willing to contribute as a member through sharing both your images and thoughts wiith other photographers. While not everyone can always do everything, lurkers who add nothing to the forum will be removed after warnings to improve by posting and sharing in the activities of this group.

How to Register
I am asking all new prospective members reading this that have not yet been invited to please submit an e-mail requesting information, with a description of who you are. I may know many of you already, but for those that I may not know, this is to prevent any spamming of the forum through member registration. I am requiring your full name be used as your login name. We will be growing daily, so even our Charter Members will need to re-register to be allowed into the forum over the next few weeks.
